Girls Night In

Happy New Years ladies!!!! A few weeks ago Diane and I got to spend the evening hanging out with some old girlfriends! Not old in age of course, but friends we hadn't spent time with in a while. Its been a minute since the WABC ladies hung out together.....so the Women's Ministry is inviting you to a Girls Night In event on Friday, February 24th at 7:00 PM. We are asking each lady to bring her favorite dessert to share and to grab one of her girlfriends along for a night of fellowship and fun. Prayer Breakfast

Ladies join us in prayer over the next few months for WABC, our families, our community and our nation. Then join the women of WABC November 6th for a prayer breakfast hosted by Erica Morrison. On December 4th at 8 AM the Women's Ministry will connect with the Men's Ministry for a combined prayer breakfast.

Legend's Luncheon

WABC Women's Day 2011

Thank you WABC women for your support of our Annual Women's Day celebration. When I looked out and saw all you ladies looking refreshed and beautiful in your yellow I was so proud to be in service to the WABC family and the Women's Ministry team. Congratulations goes out to WABC's "Women Of The Year" Jenette Sapp! Special thanks to her family for showing up to support her on such a special day and to the church body for honoring her. Don't forget that our celebration ends on this Saturday at 1 PM when we honor the "Legends" of WABC our seasoned women. The luncheon is free and open to all of the women at WABC.

It's Time To Spread Our Wings And Fly!

Hi ladies! Its been a long time, but its a brand new year, a new season and we are starting fresh here at WABC Women's Ministry! Starting with our annual Women's Day program. This year the theme is "A Fresh Start" Women Leading and Living With Purpose! In the spirit of a fresh start we will be hosting our Women's Day program on Sunday May 15th at 11:30 AM. The speaker will be our very own Lady J! The following Saturday (May 21st at 1 PM) the Women's Ministry team invites you to a free luncheon at WABC where we will honor the "Legends" of WABC, our "seasoned" women. So ladies pull out the brighest yellow outfit you own and get ready for a Fresh Start! For more info please speak with Cyndi Jennings.

Making Strides

Thanks to your generous donations we were able to raise $179.00 towards the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk which was held yesterday morning at Harbor Park in Norfolk. Special thanks to the young ladies who walked with me in support, and to my hubby for coming out to take pictures. I appreciate your commitment to the cause. Ladies don't forget we are going Pink the entire month of October. Once again thank you for your support.

Going Pink!

In honor of breast cancer awareness and our upcoming participation in the Cancer Walk next week we are asking the women of WABC to wear something pink each Sunday during the month of October. Also even if you can't walk with the team we could still use your prayers, donations and if you would like to cheer us on please join us next Saturday October 9th at Harbor Park.
